Welcome to Early Start Strong Finish Preschool!
We believe that by working together, as partners in education, we can help foster your child’s positive attitudes toward learning, and successful adjustment to school.
About Us
Our family childcare / preschool business is based on the belief that any child in our care should experience open and honest communication, feel safe and happy and find an opportunity to grow intellectually and physically.
Our developmental program encourages children in age appropriate developmental tasks, language development, and to grow in independence and autonomy. It challenges children in intellectual curiosity, reasoning, and creativity. We model integrity and respect for others. Early Start Strong Finish Preschool ensures consistency and fairness in treatment to all.
Some of our goals in caring for your child(ren) are to develop independent self-help skills and the ability to play well with others. Your Child will be introduced to new experiences in language and literacy, music, art, math, and science.
No job is more important than that of a parent. Please support your child by becoming an active part of our program. We look forward to serving you and your family!
Thank you for choosing Early Start Strong Finish Preschool to partner with you in providing a great experience for your child in these critical years.
About Us
Early Start Strong Finish Preschool strives to provide an environment for your child where the child feels safe and happy. Our program ensures that learning happens as a result of fun activities. Daily time is allowed for children to explore and play in groups, as well as individually.
Our intention is to provide a developmentally appropriate experience for your child. We have a program that recognizes the equal importance and critical interrelationships of social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth.
We provide children with a rich social and material learning environment with the full faith and confidence that children will pursue their own learning objectives. We provide children with an opportunity to choose. The role of teachers is to clarify the choices available to children, give them guidance in choosing when necessary, and to facilitate children’s accomplishments of their own learning objectives.
Throughout our program we implement Anti-Bias practices in our work with children. Practically speaking, this means that we recognize and celebrate differences in culture, gender, family form, and ability. We support every child’s identity and address children’s prejudiced behavior and statements in the context in which they occur.

About Charlotte
My background supports my developmental beliefs, goals and program. I was born and raised in Louisiana and I have four siblings. I had the privilege to serve my country in the United States Naval Services. I moved to Colorado in December 1993 and I loved the Rocky Mountains and chose to make it my home for me and my family. I am very family orientated and cannot overstate the value of community. I am also the parent of 7 children, who includes two children whom I have adopted and ten grandchildren.
I started the Early Start Strong Finish family childcare/preschool September 2005. My other experiences working with children include lead teacher for three years with the Head Start Program in Aurora, an assistant teacher for two years with children ages birth to 5 years and as a substitute teacher with Denver Public Schools for one year. I offered a large licensed family childcare home for five year and have decided to repeat that experience.
I received my bachelor’s degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver in Behavioral Science with a focus in Psychology and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master of Education and a Literacy Certification from Regis University in the fall of 2012.
